NPC Worldwide may update its Code of Conduct (“Code”) at any time without notice. Changes take effect when posted in the NPC Worldwide section of IFBBPRO.com. You should check this site regularly to stay updated. Remaining a member means you agree to the new changes.
Article 1 – Mandatory Rules:
The Code sets mandatory rules for member behavior, safety, and fairness, making compliance a strict condition of membership and breach a cause for disciplinary action.
Article 2 – General Prohibition:
NPC Worldwide strictly prohibits harassment, discrimination, and misconduct and enforces this through binding rules for member safety and conduct.
Article 3 – Harmful Behavior:
“Harmful behavior” is any conduct that is threatening, abusive, or unlawful, including, without limitation, harassment, discrimination, or physical or verbal abuse.
Article 4 – Prejudicial Conduct:
“Prejudicial conduct” is any act or omission that compromises, tarnishes, or brings disrepute to the integrity or reputation of NPC Worldwide or any competition or event it sanctions.
Article 5 – Unsportsmanlike Conduct:
“Unsportsmanlike conduct” is any behavior at a contest that is rude, unfair, aggressive, or contrary to the principles of fair play.
Article 6 – Athletes:
Athletes are prohibited from competing in NPC Worldwide Regional and Pro Qualifier contests after they earn their IFBB PRO card. In addition, pro card winners are also prohibited from participating in contests or events that are not approved by NPC Worldwide or the IFBB Professional League. Participation includes but is not limited to:
• Competing, judging, or acting in an official capacity
• Promoting, organizing, or acting in a management capacity
• Appearing onstage
• Using (or allowing others to use) your name or likeness for advertising or endorsement purposes
• Using NPC Worldwide or IFBB Professional League trademarks
• Holding membership in a same-sport organization other than NPC Worldwide or the IFBB Professional League
Article 7 – Judges:
Regional judges are prohibited from coaching, training, or otherwise preparing athletes for competition to avoid conflict of interest. In addition, Regional judges are also prohibited from participating in contests or events that are not approved by NPC Worldwide or the IFBB Professional League. Participation includes but is not limited to:
• Competing, judging, or acting in an official capacity
• Promoting, organizing, or acting in a management capacity
• Appearing onstage
• Using (or allowing others to use) their name or likeness for advertising or endorsement purposes
• Using NPC Worldwide or IFBB Professional League trademarks
• Holding membership in a same-sport organization other than NPC Worldwide or the IFBB Professional League
Article 8 – Contest Organizers:
Contest organizers have a duty to exercise reasonable care in maintaining a safe competition environment for all competitors, judges, and attendees.
Article 9 – Failure to Comply:
Failure to comply with the Code will result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership.
Article 10 – Lack of Knowledge:
Lack of knowledge of the Code is not a defense to non-compliance. Acceptance of NPC Worldwide membership includes an agreement to act in compliance with the Code.
