Rule 1: Athletes who reside in a country that has a natural Regional requirement must compete in a natural Regional in their country of residence before they can compete in a natural Pro Qualifier anywhere in the world.
Rule 2: The following countries have a natural Regional requirement:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, France, Hong Kong (China), Hungary, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, New Zealand, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan (China), United Kingdom
Rule 3: Notwithstanding Rule 1, if a country has a natural Regional requirement but does not hold a natural Regional before a natural Pro Qualifier anywhere in the world, athletes may compete in a natural Pro Qualifier without satisfying their natural Regional requirement only if the natural Pro Qualifier is held before the first natural Regional in the athlete’s country of residence. When the first natural Regional is held in the athlete’s country of residence, athletes residing in that country must satisfy their natural Regional requirement before competing in any other natural Pro Qualifier anywhere in the world.
Rule 4: Special Qualification for TEAMS from the following countries ONLY:
Argentina, China, Hungary, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, United Kingdom
Qualification Period: January 1, 2025 – April 20, 2026
Registration Deadline: April 20, 2026
Qualifying Contests: Natural Regional & Natural Pro Qualifier contests held during the Qualification Period.
Who Qualifies from Natural Regionals: Class Winners (including Novice, Juniors, & Masters) in each of the 9 divisions shown below.
Who Qualifies from Natural Pro Qualifiers: Top 3 in each class in each of the 9 divisions shown below.
Men’s Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Women’s Fitness, Women’s Figure, Women’s Bikini, Women’s Physique, Women’s Wellness, Women’s Fit Model
*Note 1 – Competing in the NPC Worldwide Pittsburgh Natural Pro Qualifier does not satisfy an athlete’s 2026 Regional requirement.
*Note 2 – Athletes must reside in the country they are representing for at least 4 months. A visitor or tourist visa is not sufficient.
Rule 5: Athletes who reside in countries that do not have a natural Regional requirement may compete in a natural Pro Qualifier anywhere in the world.
Rule 6: Athletes may not qualify for a natural Pro Qualifier by competing in an open Regional.
Rule 7: Athletes may not qualify for an open Pro Qualifier by competing in a natural Regional.
