However, Dr. Cooper determined that minimum of ten minutes was required to stimulate aerobic fibre growth. Anaerobic training may result in the greatest discernable growth, but that doesn&#039;t mean the aerobic fibres should be overlooked; compare Arnold&#039;s blood vessel size to Mentzer&#039;s for instance.
Reducing the time between sets reduces the anaerobic intensity of an exercise, and consequently the risk of overtraining.</description>
