Sooner or later, most of you will have a loved one who is battling cancer of some type.  On August 23, 2009, I leaped from a perfectly good airplane at 13,500 feet above Long Island. The event was also an important opportunity to do something for a lot of people far braver than I am.  I called my jump “Leap for Life” and raised over $15,000 in tax-deductible donations for cancer research.

Leap for Life 2009 was such a smash success that I’m doing it again!  How else can anyone have such an incredible thrill for such a worthy cause?!  If you’ve ever thought about skydiving and were waiting for just the right opportunity, maybe the time is now?  Instead of donating to MY event, why not create your OWN Leap for Life?  Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced skydiver, and wherever you are on this planet, you can choose to go to your local drop zone and jump — and if you do it on the weekend of August 21-22, 2010, you’ll be doing it the very same weekend as me and many, many others!  You can set up your very own web page through the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s LiveSTRONG website by clicking on the word “DIVE” below, which allows you to accept donations from friends, family, neighbors and co-workers with all tax-deductable donations going directly to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.  Can you imagine the excitement of such a constellation of events, comprising a team of brave independent individuals spanning cities, states and even countries, all for the noble cause of research to help find a cure?

Meanwhile, regardless of whether you choose to make the jump yourself, and especially if you don’t, please be generous right now by clicking on the word “DONATE” below.  Whether you “DIVE” or “DONATE” by clicking below, you have my humble and heartfelt thanks!
