This is the scenario:
6. Dennis Wolf – too tall, too lean for this lineup.
5. Victor Martinez – great shape, good size, needs crazy dry conditioning to move up.
4. Kai Green – sick freaky muscle, best legs in show, also needs to be peeled shredded to make up for lack of asthetic physique.
3. Dexter Jackson – balanced physique, great flowing lines, always one of the hardest, well conditioned guys on the stage, one of the smallest competitors, and zero calves
2. Phil Heath – “The Gift” is young and hungry and loaded with both freaky and asthetic muscle, best arms in the show, tons of charisma, narrow shoulders/width, if in shape can easily bang with the old fellas.
1. Jay Cutler – Biggest man in the lineup, best back in show, complete from huge calves to barndoor wide delts. Considered a long shot in this young deep lineup BUT is still the biggest guy on the stage. IF he comes in hard, cut and dry he can crush anyone next to him.

Just saw pics from the Mr.Olympia athletes press conference. The faces of the competitors in their baggy warmups are usually good indicators of whos in shape and who isnt.
First Impressions:
1. Jay Cutler’s face is drawn and tight, a great sign for Jay, a bad sign for the rest.
Jay appears dry, hard and ready for this Olympia.
2. Dexter Jackson’s face looks a little puffy and round, NOT a good sign for Dexter who ALWAYS comes in peeled. We will see….
3. Phil Heath’s face looked surprisingly round, with the bodybuilding world watching, he has to answer the bell swinging. Anything less than top 2 will be a dissapointment.
3. Victor Martinez also looks like his usual condition, good, but not great, will need to show the judges something new, we’ve seen the same Victor for the last 4 shows.
4. Kai Green looks huge, the freak looks to continue his breakout year, needs to be crispy to hang with the elite, he’s freaky big, but needs to show balance.
5. Branch Warren looks ripped and ready, slabs of hardcore muscle he has, can he show balance,
good lines, and quality seperation.
Of course this all based off only seeing them in warmups, but the face says alot………..
