His symmetry is godlike. He is the poster child for a perfect physique still today. True, guys like Flex, Ronnie, Dorian and other later musclemen are bigger and more defined, but in his era Arnold was the greatest by far. And if you ask me whose body I would rather have of the guys listed above it would be Arnold or Zane, not Ronnie or Dorian.   Arnold is number one because he elevated the sport and actually made it world famous.
