As the world’s greatest bodybuilders were celebrated during Joe Weider’s 2008 Olympia Weekend, the IFBB Professional League also paid tribute to selected industry leaders for their contributions to the bodybuilding community.  

The IFBB Professional League "Achievement Medal", recognizing outstanding contributions and service towards the growth of the IFBB Pro League and the sport of Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure, was presented for the first time during the 2008 Olympia Weekend.

Commissioned and presented by Ben Weider, President of the IFBB Professional League, the Achievement Medal is the highest award presented by the League.  The inaugural recipients were announced by Mr. Weider at the Olympia post-show gala.  The 2008 honorees are as follows: 

ROBIN CHANG: A leader in the bodybuilding industry for many years, Robin Chang is the distinguished director and promoter of the annual Olympia Weekend.  As the organizer of professional bodybuilding’s most prestigious event, Chang has emerged as one of bodybuilding’s most dedicated and disciplined executives.

ROB WILKINS: The IFBB has enjoyed a unique alliance with the Armed Forces, and this relationship is largely a result of the hard work of Master Sergeant Rob Wilkins.  Sgt. Wilkins has been a loyal and dedicated member of the bodybuilding community, serving as the IFBB’s liaison to the US Military as well as Executive Assistant to the President. 

BOB CICHERILLO: With a bodybuilding career that spans three decades, the former NPC USA champion has transitioned from the competitive stage to a high profile role as one of bodybuilding’s most visible personalities.  Cicherillo serves as IFBB Pro League athlete rep and co-host of Bodybuilding Talk Radio.

DAN SOLOMON: Through his hard work and creativity, Dan Solomon has given bodybuilding fans around the world the chance to follow the sport in a whole new way.  The creation of a successful international radio show called "Pro Bodybuilding Weekly" has given a powerful voice to the bodybuilding community that extends to all seven continents, while inspiring new and creative media around the industry.
